AuraDent Maintenance Membership
(Invisalign®)

Terms & Conditions


1. Purpose of the Membership

The AuraDent Maintenance Membership is designed to:

  • Maintain and protect results after Invisalign and cosmetic treatments
  • Provide structured long-term monitoring
  • Ensure early detection of any tooth movement

This membership is based on continuous clinical follow-up. Without proper monitoring, treatment stability cannot be guaranteed.


2. Included Services

As an active member, you receive:

  • 2 clinical check-ups per year (including digital scans and evaluation)
  • 1 set of Vivera retainers every 6 months (total 2 sets per year)
  • 1 Airflow cleaning per year (performed during one of the check-ups)
  • Bonded retainer repair or replacement if damaged or loosened
  • Continuous monitoring of tooth stability
  • Access to discounted emergency retainers

Vivera retainers are provided by Align Technology and are delivered after completed check-ups.


3. Mandatory Follow-Up Requirement

To maintain membership and eligibility for all benefits:

  • The patient must attend their scheduled check-up every 6 months

A grace period of 45 days is allowed.

If the patient does not attend within:
6 months + 45 days

Then:

  • Membership is automatically canceled
  • All benefits are terminated
  • Any guarantee becomes invalid

This policy exists because lack of monitoring prevents clinical responsibility for tooth movement.


4. Bonded Retainer Policy

  • If a bonded retainer becomes damaged or loose, AuraDent will repair or replace it at no additional cost

However:

  • The patient must contact AuraDent immediately

If the patient delays:

  • Tooth movement may occur
  • The case will be evaluated clinically
  • Additional treatment may be required depending on severity

5. Retainer Policy

  • Vivera retainers are provided only after attending scheduled check-ups
  • Lost retainers are not replaced free of charge

Members may purchase:

  • 1 Essex retainer for 1,900 SEK (discounted member price)

This is intended as an emergency or temporary solution.


6. 3-Year Stability Guarantee (AuraDent Patients Only)

Applies only if:

  • Invisalign treatment was completed at AuraDent
  • Membership remains active
  • All follow-up requirements are fulfilled

If minor relapse occurs under these conditions:

  • AuraDent will provide corrective support without additional treatment cost

The guarantee does not apply if:

  • Follow-up requirements are not met
  • Retainers are not used as instructed
  • Changes occur due to trauma or external treatment

7. Membership for External Patients

Patients who did not complete treatment at AuraDent:

  • Must pay a one-time onboarding fee of 1,900 SEK
  • Are not eligible for the 3-year guarantee

8. ATB (Allmänt tandvårdsbidrag)

For patients eligible through Försäkringskassan:

  • Available ATB will be used as part of preventive dental care

If the patient:

  • Does not have ATB
  • Is not connected to Försäkringskassan

No additional cost will be charged

By enrolling, the patient agrees that available ATB may be used where applicable.


9. Payment Terms

The membership can be paid in two ways:

Option 1 — Monthly Payment

  • The patient pays a fixed monthly fee
  • Membership remains active as long as payments are completed

Option 2 — Upfront Payment

  • The patient may choose to pay 12 months in advance
  • A 15% discount is applied to the total price

Payment Commitment

  • The membership is structured as a 12-month care cycle

If the patient has:

  • Received their check-up
  • Received Vivera retainers
  • Used included services

The full yearly cost becomes binding


10. Cancellation Policy (VERY IMPORTANT)

Patients may cancel their membership at any time.

However:

✔ Cancellation BEFORE using services

  • If no check-up, retainers, or cleaning has been used
    Membership can be canceled with no further obligation

⚠️ Cancellation AFTER using services

If the patient has already:

  • Attended a check-up
  • Received Vivera retainers
  • Used included services

The patient is required to pay for the full 12-month period

This applies regardless of:

  • Monthly payment plan
  • Partial usage

ATB in Cancellation

  • If ATB has already been used
    It will not be refunded or reversed

11. Membership Validity

Membership is valid only while:

  • Follow-up visits are completed
  • Clinical recommendations are followed
  • Payments are fulfilled

AuraDent reserves the right to cancel membership if:

  • The patient is unreachable within the follow-up window
  • Clinical requirements are not fulfilled

12. Transparency Statement

AuraDent Maintenance Membership is based on:

  • Clinical responsibility
  • Preventive care
  • Long-term treatment success

We do not guarantee results without proper follow-up.
