A Common Mistake

Many people believe that Invisalign is a collective name for invisible braces, which is incorrect. There are a number of different aligners on the market with varying quality and price ranges that should not be mistaken for Inivsalign. Invisalign is the oldest and most proven system that is well-known internationally and has treated over 18 million people.

We are transparent and responsible

The experience of orthodontic treatment is individual and depends partly on how much the teeth need to move and partly on your personal pain tolerance. However, studies have shown that clear aligner treatments like Invisalign generally cause less discomfort than traditional metal braces. If discomfort does occur, it's usually most noticeable right after switching to a new aligner. This can be relieved with paracetamol (Note: not ibuprofen). It's also normal for your teeth to feel slightly loose during the course of treatment – this is completely expected and part of the process.

That depends on which stage of the process you choose to cancel. If you decide not to move forward after the free consultation, you don’t pay anything at all. If you choose to continue and have already paid half the treatment cost and completed a dental exam with panoramic X-ray, a cancellation will cost 1.200 AED (Invisalign processing fee) plus 400 AED for the examination. If you cancel after the aligners have been ordered, you will be charged the full treatment price. There is no return policy once production has started, even if you choose not to begin treatment.

No – Invisalign aligners should always be removed when eating or drinking anything other than water. Any liquid, like coffee or juice, can get trapped between the aligner and your teeth, which may lead to staining, bad breath, or even cavities. That’s why it’s important to only drink water while wearing your aligners.

When you brush your teeth, you should also clean your aligners to keep them fresh and hygienic. It’s enough to gently brush them under lukewarm water using a soft toothbrush. Don’t use toothpaste directly on the aligners, as it can damage the material.

The results and timing of your treatment depend entirely on how much you wear your aligners. That’s why you need to wear them 20–22 hours per day. You should only take them out when eating, drinking anything other than water, or brushing your teeth. If you forget to wear your aligners for several days, your teeth may start to move back — and then your current aligner might no longer fit. If that happens, it’s very important to contact your dentist right away so you can get back on track with your treatment as soon as possible.
